Founded in early 2024, Terras is a global platform for sustainability leaders to connect, collaborate, and drive impactful climate action. Through intimate and curated gatherings, Terras creates unique spaces for changemakers to exchange ideas, foster innovation, and build meaningful partnerships. Our events include Terras Tuscany, held annually in the scenic hills of Italy; Terras New York, a prestigious Gala Dinner event during NY Climate Week; Terras Lausanne, an exclusive winter gathering in Lausanne focusing on sustainability and hospitality; and Terras Singapore, a convening of sustainability leaders in Asia. Each event takes place in natural, sustainable venues, reflecting our commitment to creating impactful experiences that align with our mission.

Terras was founded by Marvin Rottenberg, driven by a belief that real change happens through genuine human connection and meaningful discussions. Terras focuses on creating an inclusive space where leaders in sustainability can collaborate and inspire each other, all while working towards actionable solutions for climate challenges.
Terras brings together a curated group of 80 global sustainability leaders including CSOs, founders, investors, policymakers, and academics. Past and current attendees include leaders from Estée Lauder, Siemens, Lucid Motors, Starbucks, and Rivian, as well as state ministers, the President of Tuscany, and members of the Club of Rome. Terras is where real decision makers connect to shape the future of climate, business, and policy.
Tickets
Terras is a curated event that requires a formal application process.
You can request a ticket via our ticket request form or receive a personal invitation. Each potential attendee will have a call with Marvin, CEO at Terras, to discuss the fit and motivation for joining.
If there is a mutual fit, you will receive an invitation, and you can secure your seat by making a payment.
For our Tuscany and Oman gatherings, we offer two options:
- Classic Tickets: Without accommodation, including full access to all sessions, meals, drinks, and activities.
- Premium Tickets: These include accommodation, full access to all sessions, meals, drinks, and activities, and airport shuttle service.
For our New York gathering, we only offer tickets to Terras Friends members.
All ticket types include access to meals, drinks, and activities throughout the event.
Yes, we offer several discount options:
- Early bird discounts: Available up to eight months before our gatherings.
- Alumni discounts: For anyone who has previously attended a Terras event.
- Group discounts: For multiple ticket purchases.
- Startup discounts: Tailored for emerging companies.
Important note: We do not offer or authorize discount codes through third-party websites or organizations. If you encounter such claims, please know they are invalid and have not been approved by Terras. For verified discounts or inquiries, always reach out to us directly.
Tickets with accommodation typically sell out 5-6 months before a gathering.
Tickets without accommodation are usually available until around 4 months before the event.
We recommend securing your ticket as early as possible to ensure your spot, especially if you require accommodation.
If required, we provide a business case letter outlining the value of attending, such as networking with decision-makers, gaining actionable insights, and driving corporate sustainability efforts.
Yes, you can bring a spouse or partner for an additional fee, and they are welcome to join all sessions.
No, spontaneous attendance is not permitted due to the curated nature of all gatherings. Tickets must be secured in advance.
Due to the curated nature of our gatherings and the extensive planning process, tickets are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket to another person if you arrange and approve it with the organizers in advance. Please contact us for further assistance if any changes to your plans occur.

Terras Tuscany
Terras Tuscany by Terras is our flagship annual gathering, held in the scenic hills of Tuscany, Italy. Launched in September 2024, this industry-agnostic event brings together 80 of the world’s leading sustainability visionaries and executives from diverse sectors. Designed as a curated, invite-only experience, Terras Tuscany fosters collaboration, innovation, and impactful conversations on sustainability in an intimate and inspiring environment. Terras Tuscany is a catalyst for global changemakers driving meaningful progress.

Terras Tuscany takes place at the breathtaking Villa Lena, located in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. Surrounded by nature, this venue offers a serene and inspiring setting for deep, meaningful conversations on sustainability.
The peaceful environment fosters connection and collaboration, with the added benefit of locally sourced, 100% organic food, farm-to-table meals, and sustainable practices integrated into the experience.
At Villa Lena, we provide a variety of accommodations across 500 hectares of breathtaking Tuscan landscape:
- 22 Superior Double Rooms are located near key gathering spots for meals and keynotes.
- 6 larger apartments are within a 10-minute walk through the beautiful forest—a perfect reminder of the connection to nature.
- Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with early ticket holders staying closest to the main event locations. For teams, booking an entire apartment or villa is ideal.
We also have 25 rooms at Borgo Di Colleoli, a beautiful hotel just a short ride away, with a scenic daily shuttle through Tuscany’s rolling hills.
Ticket prices remain consistent across accommodation types, and we offer Classic Tickets for those arranging their own accommodation.

Yes, we provide shuttle services from Pisa and Florence airports to Villa Lena at fixed times. Shuttles depart from both airports at 10:00 am and 11:00 am on June 16, 2025, and return to the airports from Villa Lena at 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, and 4:00 pm on June 18, 2025.
This service is included for Premium ticket holders.
At Terras Tuscany, we offer a variety of unique networking activities designed to foster meaningful connections while surrounded by the natural beauty of Tuscany. Terras New York is a festive Gala Dinner for sustainability leaders, taking place during New York Climate Week in September 2025. Hosted at the prestigious Yale Club in Midtown Manhattan, this intimate gathering offers an evening of inspiring discussions, a multi-course dinner with live music, and unparalleled networking opportunities. Open to sustainability professionals and executives, the event provides a unique platform to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate progress toward a more sustainable future.
Terras New York takes place during Climate Week 2025 at the iconic Yale Club in Midtown Manhattan, offering a refined and intimate atmosphere. This festive Gala Dinner brings together sustainability leaders for deep conversations and meaningful connections in an elegant indoor setting. With the energy of New York City and Climate Week as a backdrop, the event provides an unforgettable evening of inspiration, fine dining, and impactful networking.
For Terras New York, accommodation is not provided as the event takes place over half a day.
Terras New York convenes 80 global sustainability leaders at the Yale Club in Midtown Manhattan as an official NY Climate Week side event. Terras Lausanne
Terras Lausanne is an annual gathering by Terras and EHL, bringing together 80 sustainability leaders and executives from the hospitality and luxury sectors. Launched in summer 2024 as an intimate meetup, it has since evolved into a highly anticipated winter event held in Lausanne just before the Christmas break. This unique gathering focuses on fostering collaboration at the intersection of sustainability, hospitality, and luxury.

Terras Lausanne is an exclusive, invite-only event tailored for sustainability leaders and executives in the hospitality and luxury industries. Attendance is curated to ensure meaningful connections and impactful discussions among professionals driving innovation and sustainability in these sectors. Invitations are extended to those whose work aligns with the event’s mission and values.
