
Kurt Harrison is a Senior Partner at Russell Reynolds Associates, a Terras Tuscany and Terras New York attendee, and a member of the Terras Advisory Board.
With nearly four decades of experience across executive search, capital markets, and sustainability leadership, Kurt is one of the most respected voices on sustainability governance in the boardroom and C-suite.
At Russell Reynolds Associates, Kurt is the Founder and Co-Head of the firm's Global Sustainability Practice and the Americas leader for the RRA Mentor program, a structured performance-led mentoring programme designed for CEOs and CFOs. As a member of the firm's Board and CEO Advisory Partners practice, he has recruited C-suite leaders and board directors for some of the firm's largest global clients during his 18 years with the firm. He has also served as Global Head of the Investment Management Practice and Americas Head of Financial Services. Kurt is a highly regarded author on sustainability topics in corporate governance. Several of his groundbreaking white papers have been published in the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Kurt spent 20 years in capital markets leadership at leading global banks including Lehman Brothers, Bank of America, and Nomura. He began his career as an Analyst at JP Morgan.
Kurt holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Virginia, a Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge, a Certificate in Sustainable Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Climate Designation from Competent Boards. He is a Lecturer in the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.
