Marvin Rottenberg is the CEO and Founder of Terras and the host of Terras Tuscany, Terras New York, Terras COP, and Terras Singapore. Terras is a global network of senior leaders driving the future of sustainability. Terras connects senior leaders across business, finance, policy, and philanthropy through intimate gatherings and invite-only membership.
Terras was founded by Marvin Rottenberg to bring sustainability leaders together through real human connection. Built on the belief that bold ideas emerge in intimate settings, Terras creates space for collaboration, reflection, and action on today's most urgent climate challenges. Each Terras gathering is capped at around 80 participants and held under Chatham House Rules, bringing together Chief Sustainability Officers, founders, investors, policymakers, and senior executives from organisations including Estée Lauder, Nokia, Starbucks, Rivian, Kering, JP Morgan, and Zurich Insurance.
Terras is guided by an Advisory Board of senior leaders from organisations including Estée Lauder, Russell Reynolds Associates, Hamilton Clark, Rivian, WilmerHale, Steve Madden, and the Watch and Jewellery Initiative 2030.
Before founding Terras, Marvin served as SVP Marketing at Ada Health, one of Europe's leading digital health platforms, VP Marketing at Tourlane, a premium sustainable travel tech company, and Brand Manager at Google, where he was responsible for major German automotive clients including Volkswagen and Audi. His career spans digital health, consumer marketing, sustainability leadership, and global brand strategy.
Marvin is based in Berlin, Germany. He holds a Master of Science in Political Economy from the London School of Economics, where his research examined the lasting influence of post-communist China's economic reforms on modern Asia's trade architecture and growth dynamics.
