
Dr. Velislava Ivanova is a Terras Tuscany attendee and the EY Global Chief Sustainability Strategist, where she drives the advancement of EY's sustainability initiatives to increase the long-term value of the firm and its clients. With over twenty-five years of international experience, she has developed and delivered sustainability strategies for multinational corporations across energy, manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, and pharmaceuticals.
In her role at EY, Dr. Ivanova focuses on embedding sustainability across all solutions and services the firm provides, bringing innovation and collaboration to clients, alliances, and partner organisations. She serves as the EY Liaison Delegate at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and regularly speaks at sustainability forums, publishing thought leadership on sustainability strategy, sustainable supply chains, climate and natural capital, and sustainability reporting.
Dr. Ivanova has been recognised among the Top 100 Women in Sustainability in 2022, 2023, and 2025 by Sustainability Magazine, among the Top 250 CSOs in 2023, 2025, and 2026, and among the Top 25 Sustainability Consultants and Leaders from 2022 to 2025 by The Consulting Report. In 2024, she was named among the Top 14 Inspiring Women Leading the Fight Against Climate Change by ESG News and among the Top 20 Chief Sustainability Officers by The Climate Insider.
She holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Manchester and an MSc from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria. She speaks five languages.
